Russell Fork Rendezvous News
By Megan Larkin
For Immediate Release
The event will feature chili and beer for sale, with all proceeds going to fund this year’s Rendezvous.
“Supporting events like this is extremely important because they provide the basic, upfront funding that enable us to get the festival off the ground,” says Rendezvous Organizer Bob Larkin. It’s because of the support of organizations like Nach Bar and many others that this effort has not only survived, but flourished.”
The October 6th fundraiser is being planned by Nate Scally, another Rendezvous organizer. Nach Bar, located at 969 Charles Street, has graciously donated a keg for the event.
A Kickstarter page has also been set up to raise seed money for the festival. The first person to donate $200 will have the rare opportunity to boat any section of the Russell Fork River with professional kayaker Pat Keller.
